The GasanMamo Point 2 Point Raises Funds for Hospice Malta and The Children in Need Foundation

Three lifelong friends – Daniel Abela, Douglas Barbaro Sant, and Joseph Casha – took on an extraordinary journey of endurance, friendship, and purpose. It saw them run, swim, and cycle across Malta and Gozo in a gruelling one-day event – all to raise vital funds for Hospice Malta and The Children in Need Foundation.
The trio share more than memories – they share a deep belief in giving back to their community. Inspired by the tireless, selfless work of the two charities, the trio decided to turn their passion for sport into a force for good. The sum of €168,085 was collected for the charities.

24-Hour NIUM Padel Marathon -
2nd Edition
6-7 June, 2025
With the support of Padel Malta, and one again the invaluable support of NIUM, The Children in Need Foundation successfully organised the 2nd edition of it's 24-hour padel marathon in Malta. Attended by many enthusiasts and beginners alike, this event resulted in collection of €15,000 through the generous donations of players, corporates and attendees.

With the support of Padel Malta, and the sponsorship of NIUM, The Children in Need Foundation successfully organised the first-ever 24-hour padel marathon in Malta. Attended by many enthusiasts and beginners alike, this event resulted in collection of €12,586.28 through the generous donations of players, corporates and attendees.

200km running around Marsa Race Track
1st May 2023
Philantropist and businessman Daniel Abela together with hospitality consultant Claudio Camilleri successfully completed a 200km run in under 36 hours around the Marsa race track between the 30th April and 1st May 2023. Proceeds collected will go towards the mental well-being of children living in homes run by Fondazzjoni Sebħ.
